I vowed there and then that I would get myself another Cavalier but that, next time, I would do my research and make sure that I found a healthy dog from a reputable breeder. And so, 5 months later, Bella came into my life – and turned it upside down! I didn’t have a clue about training, all I knew was that I was madly in love with this wriggling ball of fluff and wanted to do everything to make her happy. Big mistake! That dog had me running rings around her. Eventually, I sought the help of a professional trainer. What an eye-opener! I couldn’t believe how I had gone so badly wrong.
